About Michael Standen Smith

Michael Standen Smith

Michael hails from Wiltshire, England. He likes to think he’s still 8 years old, reading comics and jumping in puddles, but he’s not. He likes to think he’s a photographer too, but he’s not... well, not a professional one anyway It all started when he bought a pair of walking boots in a sale. He decided to put them to good use and set about exploring his backyard. When he plucked up the courage he even ventured to the end of his street. And then the fun really began. One day he took his camera along for the ride, and the rest, as they say, is history Michael struggles with most things technical, so he has a very basic digital camera and does not employ any ‘artificial’ aides (filters, lighting, zoom lenses, converters, tripods, etc)....
